I'm going to be part of an evening lecture this Thursday at BARE Magazine's semesterly panel discussion event, BAREing It All, to learn about how copyright law may completely alter the future of fashion design. The panel will feature Intellectual Property Lawyer Larry Townsend, UC Hastings Professor of Law Margreth Barrett, Fashion Designer Tawny Holt of Armour sans Anguish Fashion Designer Kana Rosos of Kanaro, Fashion Designer Jude Gabbard y Muños and Artist Hannah Stouffer of Grand Array. Just got back from a trip to Houston, where I was asked to be a judge for the Art Directors Club of Houston's annual show. Met a ton of amazing creatives and got the opportunity to review some of the best design woork that Houston has going... thank you everyone for the great time, the excess of whiskey and the warm chocolate chip cookies.
